Corporate Training & Workshops

This is for organisations, leadership teams, and professionals with high-pressure working environments who are looking for more than skin-deep wellbeing efforts.
Matthew Bartolo works for companies that understand that performance, leadership, and culture are influenced by how people regulate their emotions, connect during stressful situations, and take control of their behaviour. His training and his workshops integrate clinical psychological thought into work in an organisational setting in practical terms, that is realistic and applicable, and directly applicable to day-to-day work.
Offerings
Matthew provides bespoke training and workshops for organisations across industries. These include:
- Training and retreats on leadership development courses.
- Training for executives and senior managers.
- Team focused workshops regarding communication, responsibility, and performance.
- Organisational change, wellbeing strategy, and culture development.
All work is contextualised according to the organisation, and specific roles and pressures teams are under. Emphasize skills which are immediately applicable, not theoretical abstractions or motivational arguments.
Workshop themes and outcomes of focus

Common topics:
- Emotional regulation under pressure and making choices in complex environments.
- Responsibility, authority, and accountability of leadership.
- Problems in communication, conflict, and relationships in work.
- Adopting psychological resilience and adaptability.
- Boundaries, clarity of role, and sustainability of performance.
- Psychology, behaviour, and business outcomes.
Organisations usually identify clearer communication, more consistent leadership behaviour, better team functioning, and greater shared language around pressure, responsibility, and performance.
Experience & the professional

Matthew has ten years’ experience – clinical and organisational – behind him working with people across clinical and organisational contexts. In addition to his practice as a psychotherapist, he has collaborated with leaders, teams, and professionals in business, education, healthcare, and the public sector. He is the founder and managing partner of a multidisciplinary mental health clinic in Malta where he has provided training, delivered lectures, and held workshops across the country and internationally. His work is shaped by clinical practice, governance roles, and advisory work, not abstract commercial frameworks.
